Thanks for the info, very helpful!

I am a web designer putting a site together for a client. I am looking for an ecommerce solution to sell his shirts online that i are already printed, meaning, I don't want to upload a design I want to upload the whole shirt with design for sale.

I would like to be able to use a template that is geared towards selling shirts/clothes to make it an easier set up if i can find one. I am lost with all the options out there and what goes into to putting something like this together. Magneto, Joomla, volusion, go daddy, merchline, miva...???

If anyone could help point me in the right direction or explain a route that worked for them, I would be most grateful.

thanks!

First off, awesome site man. I constantly find myself looking on here to better my knowledge of tshirt marketing. I recently started a cafepress/zazzle style website and use alot of your info on helping my website grow.

As for Joel, yes you can design shirts on paper just make sure you have a good scanner to scan them in. Most likely when you scan in a design you will be printing on lighter colored shirts though.

Could you please tell me the pros/cons of screen printing your own shirts versus paying to have them printed and which is recommended for someone trying to start a brand name t-shirt? I am new to this site and am sorry if this question is common. Thanks! r. nelson
