So you’ve decided to become a t-shirt entrepreneur and are getting ready to lay out your plan for success.  One of the first decisions you are going to make is what the heck to actually sell – besides t-shirts, mugs, etc I mean.

There are limitless models for you to follow and many types of designs to sell.  But one of the things that rarely enters into the mind of new t-shirt entrepreneurs is whether they should dive head first into an already competitive arena with hundreds (if not thousands) of established shops or focus on some niche audience that, while smaller, might have little or no competition.

While you should do what you love and have a passion for, you also have to realize that if you are going to be a serious t-shirt entrepreneur (and not a t-shirt hobbyist) you have to have a plan for making money at it. (more…)

Ok, since this site has gone operational it seems every day or so I get an email from someone that is upset with the types of articles I am posting. These complaints usually focus around the fact that I spend so much time scouring the internet for articles that pertain to business but not exclusivley to Cafepress or other t-shirt sites.

Well, there is a reason for that. See the title of this site? It’s called the “T-shirt Entrepreneur”. It’s not the “T-shrit Hobbyist”. This site is for people that want to know not just how to create and sell t-shirts on line but also about how to run a business! (more…)
