I thought that I would just take some time to update everyone on how I have been reacting to Cafepress’ latest changes. Since the changes took place where they announced the 10% commission for marketplace sales, I have created 32 new designs. Of those 32, Cafepress has received five of them or 16%. (more…)

From Four Figures To Barely Three In Nothing Flat
… or how Cafepress has turned me from a top shopkeeper into nothing.
Another update as to how things are going at Cafepress for my stores. Well, as everyone knows when marketplace sales no longer counted towards the volume bonus my income from that site took a big hit. It dropped from a healthy four figures a month down to barely reaching $1,000. Now, since the newest market place changes, something CP promoted as going to help its quality shopkeepers, I will be very lucky to make even half that this month. (more…)
Update: How The New CP Marketplace Is Affecting Me
On April 22nd Cafepress they were beginning to tweak their marketplace algorithm to, “ensure we’re better delivering the designs and merchandise shoppers are looking for. This includes bringing the best designs to the front, and reducing redundant designs.”

All Shirts Are Not Created Equal
Cafepress is plowing ahead with plans to make uniform pricing throughout their market place and make all designs equal. I think this is a bad idea. Cafepress knows that I think this is a bad idea. It is a bad idea because Cafepress will be setting the prices of a t-shirt that has a single word in Arial font across it the same as another that has a complex graphical work. (more…)
Zazzle Jumps To Reassure Partners On Heals Of Cafepress Changes
Zazzle is working hard to pick up the large cookies Cafepress has been dropping in it’s desire to stuff it’s face.
