This literally came out of nowhere. Cafepress has announced that starting July 21st (today) they will be offering a buy 3, get 1 free promotion on certain styles of t-shirts. This announcement was dropped on shopkeepers by AngCP August 19th and the date was corrected to the 21st for the start on the 20th.

While I certainly do welcome this promotion, I do wish that Cafepress would have give us a little bit more time especially since shopkeepers like myself who actually promote our stores have dozens of banners that needed to be updated to reflect this. Needless to say I have been spending the entire morning doing just this rather than other things.

I hadn’t had much time to check the Cafepress site in recent days. Many of you know yesterday, for example, I was busy getting ready for autograph night at Motordrome where AmericanInfidelTshirts.com sponsors the #9 Modified driven by Rick Huffman.

And not getting home until 1:00 AM after the races meant I was a little thrown for a loop when I got up at 7:00 AM and found out about this atthe last minute on the website. And I sure would have liked to have known about the promotion last night since the track was nice enough to use our shirts as door prizes. Mentioning the Buy 3, get 1 free promo would have been a nice kick!

The promotion is for a “limited time” and Cafepress hasn’t slated an end date for it yet so if you are a Cafepress shopkeeper make the most of it while it lasts!
