I made another purchase from my Cafepress shops the other week just to check up on their product quality. I think it is a good thing to consider whenever you have anyone doing work for you to make sure they are doing it well. And as many of you know I’ve had my beefs with them in the past although things have been better as of late. Until this last order.I will give CP credit. Their print quality on the colored shirts is still second to none and the white t-shirts are superb. But each of the four bumper stickers I received had the same problem; the image was too large and bled off the left and the bottom.

Now I know that this is nothing with my template because I’ve used it since I started and have not had any problems. Plus one of the bumper stickers was one that I had personally ordered a couple times before. So I knew the error was with Cafepress. And to their credit they replaced them and I had a set that looked correct within two days.

But that still doesn’t mean that it should have happened. The problem was obvious and whomever was making the products should have noticed that the images were not quite right.

Maybe I just personally have bad luck with Cafepress because my rate of return by actual customers is basically nil. Or maybe Cafepress just does a really good job replacing bad merchandise. In the case of the later perhaps their merchandise is a little over priced to cover these losses?
